Analysts from Triple A have presented a comprehensive report outlining the results of the statistical analysis of Global crypto adoption. As of May 2023, the number of cryptocurrency owners has reached 420 million. This figure represents 4.2% of the world's population!
The top 5 countries with the highest number of crypto users are:
• United States (46 million).
• India (27 million).
• Pakistan (26 million).
• Nigeria (22 million).
• Vietnam (20 million).
However, a different picture emerges when looking at the percentage of cryptocurrency ownership relative to the total population of each country. Analysts have analyzed the percentage of cryptocurrency ownership and found that digital currencies are used by approximately 13% of the population in the United States, and over 20% in Vietnam. In Ukraine, this indicator stands at over 10%.
Triple A predicts that the cryptocurrency market will grow by approximately 56% per year, along with the adoption of digital currencies. In fact, over 95% of American merchant companies have stated that implementing crypto payments is their top priority.
